The Stooges were the proud recipients of the '10-'11 "Best Contemporary Brass Band" award from Gambit Magazine's Big Easy Music Awards, beating out the Soul Rebels Brass Band and the Hot 8.  In addition, they received a fantastic reception for their award show performance.
